Hi everyone, I was wondering what shimp if any would be suitable for a community aquarium my current stock list : 2 gold gourami
2 guppie
1m 2f swordtail
1 sailfin mollie
3 preacox rainbow
3 oto
1 bristlenose
1 golden bristlenose
1 siamese fighter
1 redtail black shark
Its a 55g and any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi there,
Unfortunately, you have some fish that would probably make snacks of most FW shrimp suitable for an aquarium. If you have a lot of cover (plants), you could give it a try with some inexpensive ghost shrimp, and see how it goes. If the shrimp can hide they may make it, but I wouldn't risk shelling out the dough for more ornamental shrimp, as I have a feeling it would end up as a buffet.
