New Shrimp Tank!

HI! I have a spare 5.5 gallon and I'm planning to get some cherry shrimp in there and breed them. How many shrimp can I get? If they overpopulate my tank, i will put some in my 10 and 2 gallon tanks.

Ive heard you can do 10 shrimp per gallon, but because you want to breed them I would start with 10-15

I'd start with a dozen. They appreciate stable water conditions and preferably an established tank.
You could raise dozens in that tank and sell the extras (folks will pay for decent shrimp).
