Would there be any problems housing these together? I have a small pepp tetra in my shrimp tank, and just want to be sure there's no funny business while I'm not around. I removed 2 rosy barbs after adding the shrimp because they couldn't resist! Thanks for the help!

Just about any Barb / tetra will actively try to hunt RCS that are small enough to be eaten. Large enough RCS are generally left alone, but the baby RCS are always in danger of becoming a tasty snack. If you provide plenty of hiding places via Plants, Rocks and DW ... chances are the RCS will breed successfully enough to have a small sustained colony.

The RCS will tell you what you need to know. If they are out in the open with the fish swimming about, they feel safe enough. If they are constantly hiding and only come out once in a while or when lights are out (like in my 75gal) then they know they are bottom of the food chain.
