Nice pics .... Those RCS are a nice dark red! Awesome! Today I added a bit of Petco brand black sand to darken the substrate on my RCS tank. I'll give it a few days before I add some more. I'm mixing it with my PFS to give the substrate a mixed color look, but leaning towards a darker tone.
Speaking of RCS ... got back from a few days in Brooklyn, looked in my tank and I have double the number of baby shrimp! During the Hurricane, I had about 10 new shrimp hatch bringing me to 30. Today I counted about 2 dozen babies so about another 12 just hatched. I should have around 40 shrimp in total ... in a little over a month's time.
