Rcs dropped eggs

Finally my 2 female rcs were carrying eggs within the same week and unfortunately both dropped their eggs. I was just wondering how long does it take for the saddles to come back

I don't know how long it takes for the females to become ready to breed again but take heart in that my RCSs dropped eggs quite a lot at first. Could have been new surroundings/ water etc. But now the tank has aged they are breeding well with no sign of dropped eggs. They will breed again - they are built to eat and breed and of course entertain.

Dropping can occur for many reasons: fluctuating conditions, predators, low food source.
