One of my new buddies :] Orange Sulawesi (Rabbit) snail. I got 4 and I am hoping *so* hard that they breed.

Everyone has terrific snails here. You've inspired me to check the LFSs for new stock.

Yeah, I keep seeing new stuff I want. I was there yesterday, and they said soon they're getting in Sulawesi 'volcano' types that they claim may be one of the first imported to the US? I tried googling but I seriously can't find what they're talking about. I put my name on the list though, not missing out on something that rare/cool.

When I put my community tank together I had no idea that my favorite part would be the snails!

Snails are a lot of fun! ❤

My first snails

I added my first snails on Thursday. They are such cool creatures! My kids are so excited and love watching them! Such awesome algae eaters!

Great pics, yay!

The infamous Kevin here was named and is technically owned by my 18 year old daughter who is away at college....if your kids are young be forewarned that they never really grow up

A group of snails is called a rout, walk, or escargatoire.
How about feet of snails?
I could have this walk in a hand in the vegetable garden during the summer.
Then sell them to fancy smancy french restaurants. I couldn't eat them though.

Lovely snail's, I really enjoy watching mine. I'm receiving 2 Chinese water snail's on Tuesday to add to my collection :)

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
30 gallon vampire shrimp, green lace shrimp and snails.

I want to get some more. Is there any besides assassins what won't work together?

I've got different breeds of snail's in my tank cana, mystery, tylo, lava, nerites and I use to keep pagoda snails but they just wouldn't survive long so gave up. So really any would work except for the assasins which I've never owned like my snail's to much :)
