Shrimp?!?

I dont know why but I wanna add shrimp into my community tank. It's an impulse I've been fighting because I know they would make great snacks for my discus and rams. Lol

If you got dwarf shrimp they would be easy snacks, but if you get big shrimp like bamboo shrimp or amano shrimp they should be fine.

Ah ok, thanks. Question, would adding a few shrimp say 5, would that increase the bio load a lot? I mean since they are constantly eating (cleaning)

Shrimp have a very light bioload. You should be fine.

Thank you. I will look into the Amano shrimp. My drift wood is growing algae (not the thick fuzzy type) that I'm sure they'll feast on. Lol still gotta do homework first though on these Amano shrimp. Thank you once again.

I agree with the person who said bamboo shrimp are a good choice. Plus sometimes mine changes colors and sheds his skin
