When a shrimp is about to "lay eggs" so to speak do their body's turn a little green? ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1426218160.207086.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1426218252.752204.jpg I know the second one is and that's what made me think the first one was as well

Sorry, I can't tell from your photos: what color are the shrimp? I have neos in all sorts of colors. Eggs can be yellow or green but I honestly can't say I noticed body colors changing at any point.

Here's a pregnant ghost shrimp i knowingly brought home from the LFS one time. Should help give you an idea.

As you can see from my photo the eggs are Noticeably farther back in the body and have defined round shapes. I would say yours isn't but I'm no shrimp expert either.

That's what they call "the saddle", basically it's eggs in the ovaries. Once the eggs get fertilized, they will move to the swimmerets.

With ghost shrimp, there is a high likelihood that you won't see baby shrimp. They undergo a larval stage and if there isn't enough food floating around in your tank, they won't make it to shrimp stage.

Should I move them to another tank with a sponge filter or will they be fine in a 10g tank? There's not much current and I have plants for fry as well

You can put a pre-filter sponge on your filter intake. I use the sponge from a Fluval Edge. You can keep it forever, just wring it out in the old tank water when you clean your tank out.
