I've lost two shrimp this week. One died. The other vanished and the third is running around more than ever before. All three were females (they all had eggs when I bought them).

They live with 2 guppies, 2danios, 2 dwarf guarmi, 5 nerite snails, 7rasboras in a heavily planted (sadly yellow tinged from the driftwood) tank. I have six rouge ghostie babies that are growing like weeds who seem untouched.

Assuming the missing shrimp is dead is it safe to say she was eaten? I can't find any remains what so ever and it's been three days since I've been able to account or both shrimp at the same time. I suppose she could be hiding some where... Is it worth the risk to the babies to take the tank apart looking for her? Or should I just accept that my days of accounting for every one are over? And hope she is just hiding?
