Snail id

I just got 10 new snails and did my best to pick nitrates
First 4 pretty sure are nitrates








Next I'm kinda confused

So that brings me to my next question...will they eat plants? And will they coexist with the 4 nitrate?

You have mystery and nerite snails. The nerite snails are excellent algae eaters. The mystery snails are while young but as they get older eat less. Neither will help with nitrate....only water changes will lower those.

Thanks. I do not have a prob with nitrate. I keep discus so I do weekly 50% pwc's

Anyway, I see 5 different nerite snails...the zig zag one pictured by itself is also a type of nerite and Mystery snails aka Briggs aka Diffusa.....

That's a lot of snails. Hope you have a big enough tank to keep them fed.

Lol!! It is spell check... It's so useful yet so annoying!!
