I've wanted to do a fiddler tank for awhile and I finally have a tank I think I can use. It's a 10g so I'm not sure if it is or not just being hopeful. What all would I need for a fiddler tank? I know I need a land mass for them and brackish water but that's about the extent of what I know

Keep calm and rock on

I used to have fiddler crabs (now I just have red claws and 1 vampire) and they were very cool.

They do need a fair amount of both heated brackish water and dry land areas, and they also like to dig. If possible, to allow them to dig you could add lots of sand in the land area so they can dig a burrow.

Anywhere between a third and halfway up should be fine for fiddler crabs, but the more the better so I'd lean towards filling it halfway up on one side like you mentioned (y)
