Hello I have a 2.5 g RCS tank witb a few ram fry. Today I noticed a few strange worms in the tank. They looked like mosquito larvae but did not hang on the top, and my tank has a hob filter so I do not think they are mosquito larvae. What are they?

Maybe this will help ;

Planaria are problem from over feeding and need to removed or reduced.
Detritus worms are also from overfeeding [when you see them ] ,buit are not a problem that needs any more attention then reduced feedings and water changes..
To remove extra food in my fry tanks I use a turkey baster after every feeding...

hmm.. they are not so think. They are thin, like a thread...
