cross contamination thought

I recently got another tank that is literally over filled with the exact same gravel as I have in my other tank, the thing is I need more gravel in my tank, So I was wondering if there is any provblems with scooping a couple cups out of the new tank and putting it in my old tank. See the new tank I got was in horrible shape but beleive it or not, it has this like super bacteria, the gravel wasn't cleaned for 2 years..literally 2 years!!! it clogged my gravel cleaner everytime, and they just through in tap water and never used a dechlorinator and the fish are hardy as can be, so is there any chance of putting that gravel in my old tank or would it mess with my already stable tank? Thanks for the help

I'd just take it out, rinse it, and put it in the other tank.
