external filter for small pond
any recommendations for a good external filter that can be buried?I want something easy to service.

What do you mean by buried, and why not have it above ground? I think what I have is made by little giant. I like it. Check out the reviews section for a description (link in my sig or at the top of the page).

Sorry I didn't mention this was for a small pond RM, 100 gallons. It looks like the liittle giant is for large ponds. I'd like it to be out of sight. I've seen pressurized types that can be buried up to the lid. I suppose I could hide it if it was above ground.I'm just looking for a good filter that is easy to maintain outside of the pond.Don't mind if it's gravity or presssurized.

Pressurized cost more. Gravity feds have to be above the water line. Which do you want?

zacdl, which do a better job at keeping a small pond very clean? Are the submersible box type filters similar to the external box filters? Do the pressurized type require more maintenance?
