i some some help please with our pond

im new to this site but weve had our pond for about 16 months now. we took EVERYTHING out last cleaning day and now there is excess algae. i do not know how to safely take it out, etc. there are 4 koi and 6 large goldfish in our 100 [acronym:196ffd830a="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:196ffd830a]. [/center]

well adam algae is normal in a pond as long as you filter is sufficient it will be fine

but if you really hate the algae there are things you can buy to gat rid of the

Lots of plant coverage will also cut down on the algae.
Try adding some quilt batting in your filter.

I just started my pond 2 weeks ago and because it's still chilly here in minnesota, I have algae because I can't add plants yet.
I'm waiting for some nice warm weather to arrive.
If anyone wants to share by all means...send some this way.
