Mystery snail a mystery
The mystery snail i got yesturday has only come out once since ive had him. Are they nocturnal or something? I think its an apple snail.. golden shell with a peach like body with tiny pink specks.

I think they are. I know they only lay eggs at night.

When i had a golden apple snail he or she was out all of the time pretty much enless one of my fish scared him. I don't think they are nocturnal.

Snails will hide out when introduced to a new environment. In time, he will be out and around and over and into everything almost all the time.
