New Pond

1 1/2 weeks, 3400 pounds of rock and a couple of yards of dirt later, the pond is finished. Thought I would post a few pics. It's about 7.5 ft by 7 ft with about 22 inch water depth. A lot of work but I think it will be well worth it.

We just put 4 shubunkin and 1 comet in. My mother-in-law is going to give us a couple of her smaller koi. That will be it for a while until we see how big everything is going to get. Right now the ones we have are about 4 to 5 inches and they look tiny in there.

Oh yea, the pink flamingoes were supposed to be a gag mother's day joke. It turns out my wife loved them. I decided they looked kinda cool by the pond.
