Pond flakes by the bucket?
I was just wondering if any of you knew a place I could get a very large container of flakes for my pond. I have something like 3 dozen small comets, a dozen larger comets, 2 shabunkins, and some channel cats that all love to eat. Even the largest containers at petsmart only last like 2 weeks.

The LFS, buy it in bulk and sell it in reusable containers, you might want to ask if they can order you one, or, click on this link

Well that is a lot of fish, but I only feed maybe 2x per week. I like to keep them hungry, so they eat ALL the mosquito larvae that may hatch in the pond. My fish are fat and happy too! I guess the catfish would need daily feedings, I have no exp. with them. Also, you mentioned flake, why not go with floating sticks/pellets? My fish like them, and the smaller fish will nibble at the pieces that are too big, they still get plenty.

Channel cats? Aren't those the catfish that get to be 40 lbs or more and eat fish?
