This is our pond (Photos)

Just thought I would share some photos of our pond. To be clear this pond is at my mothers house, I moved into the house the same time she did and inherited the pond. A few weeks later I decided to go back to my hubby so she took over, but I still do all the pond maintnence when I go visit.

Since these photos were taken the stock has been reduced by 7 then 4 babies were added. The pond has been cleaned professionally which isnt much considering the previous owners did a [acronym:bae74ab431="Do it yourself"]DIY[/acronym:bae74ab431] thing and made a mess of things. The left us a leaking pond with absolutly [acronym:bae74ab431="Normal Output Fluorescents"]NO[/acronym:bae74ab431] instructions on how to operate it, in fact my mom now has to learn how to winterize for the first time and I am praying she just has the Pond Doctor do it.
Estimated Stock is
3 large Koi
2 Panda Orandas
1 Shubunkin (sp?)
4 koi and or goldie babies
2 turtles
maybe a frog, if it survived... Shelly ate the other two
Misc glodies though I think we lost most of the goldies to some unknown illness a few months back.
Oh the pond is estimated at 1500 gallons

Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

You are most welcome. The surrounding greenery really makes it work....please tell me you have frogs/toads.

Well I added 3 tadpoles but Shelly ate 2 of them right away, so I am not sure. There are two turtles though

The photos are great. I saw your comment about winterizing so here is a link that might help.
