The Red Rili Shrimp "were selectively bred from red neocaridinas (neos) with white patches, bands, stripes, and splotches until the line was stabilized and made available to the public." Essentially, they are a Red Cherry Shrimp (RCS) morph selectively bred for their distinctive red bands.

As with other Neos such as RCS, Rilis are prolific breeders. "Essentially, given a mix of sexes, clean water, and acceptable temperatures, these shrimp will readily reproduce."

Temperature:
68 to 78F

That infrared picture is really neat. Did quite a bit of reading on it and learned something new .

Thanks glad you like it and that you learned something new. When I started getting back in photography a few years ago I was looking at some pics and when I first saw a IR pick I had to learn how. I started with a Hoya R72 filter and all shots were 4 sec exposures, so windy days was out of the question. I got a steal on an Olympus E510 and sent off to be converted to only IR made things a lot easier and intresting.
