October 2013 POTM Contest

Please post your photo for the [October 2013] POTM contest. This months theme is [aquascape]. Photos must be uploaded to your gallery and the bbcode link posted in the thread. A brief description of your photo may be included. One photo per member per month allowed, and photos MUST be taken by you. I will select the winner of the contest based on the quality of the photograph and how closely it relates to the theme this month . The winner will copy and paste this section to a new thread, where they will decide the theme of next months contest. Submissions will be accepted until the last day of the month. The winner will be announced on the first day of the next month. The new contest thread should be created no later than the 3rd day of the new month. I will send a PM to the winner, letting them know that they have won, along with a post in this thread. I will also send a PM to an admin or moderator, so that they can add the POTM Badge to your account. Good luck!

My entry

Excuse the horrible picture, my iphone really doesn't help my tank looks! The gravel and DW was with the tank when I got it, along with the AC 300 and heater! Anyways, I found, cured, and placed all the large rocks (the largest I only placed yesterday [on the left]). I then put the DW with anubias still elasticised to the side across all of the rocks to make an area of shady-ness for the fish to rest under and swim through. This is my first attempt at aquascaping, even though its not very nice I hope you enjoy!

[Fish are : 1 DG, and multiple platies]

Here is my rockscape in my 60g rimless saltwater tank. took awhile to get it just right but I am very pleased with it. I have a bunch of gobies and blennies who love the arches and all the caves.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Alright, the winners (yes, I said winners... see below) are ReeferRusty and Rivercats. After thinking about splitting it in to FW and SW, and having a couple people suggest this, I decided to give it a try. If it doesn't work out, we'll combine it back.

ReeferRusty and Rivercats, please go ahead and get the November contest threads set up for your respective contest. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Congrats to both of you!
