Indiana,
Okay, so I'm planning on housing an axolotl in the fifteen gallon portion of my tank (getting a twenty gallon, making two 2.5 segments with dividers for bettas. Any suggestion on dividers good for something like this?). Does anybody have any advice on them?

They grow to around 10" so it's suggested they are housed in tanks larger than 10 gallons. I think I remember reading 20L being the minimum and 30-40 being preferred for more than 1. Maybe it was 20g for the first and 10g additional each one after?
I also think they are social so it's preferred to have more than 1 together but isn't necessary.

From what I have heard they are pretty easy to breed so if you don't want a bunch of babies on a regular basis it's probably best to get females rather than a pair

I've always wanted them as well but have never had enough space to devote to just them.
