Best Native Fish

Are American Flag Fish a good option? It sounds like it from what I've read on LiveAquaria.

I've not kept them, closest thing i've kept to that is sheepshead minnows. I'm going to try to find some next time I visit south florida.

If I got them I would just do a species tank with some snails in there as cleanup.

The only bad thing about them is they are nocturnal.

mne came out during the day to eat after I had him for about 3 weeks.

Recommended native fish dealers

I know that tilapia are the darlings of most aquaponics presently. But I personally cannot see having a dedicated heated greenhouse so I can have them year round. Especially, since I can grow vegetables in the garden outside year around.
I am looking to acquire 9 bluegills fingerlings. On my VA monies, I have little left to purchase these. So I would like to know if you have had any dealings with an dealers for small purchases of these fish and if you could contact me through the private mail about the dealers to go to and the one's to avoid. Again, be kind to the owner of this site and don't publish them publically.
