comet goldfish

So, we had a lab in science today concerning comet goldfish. At the end of the day my friend got one. He looks healthy and about 2" so can she keep him in a 10 gallon for now. Just want to make sure that I am not shooting way out of the ball park.

Recommended tank size is at least a 20 and preferably a 30g.

Very temporarily, he can survive in a 10g. But big water changes maybe every other day. Needs a pond.



Test water daily !

Are there other fish ?

Just remember you can put him into a new clean Rubbermaid tub or bin if needed. Indoor pond

More water, will stay cleaner.
