This is the home to about 45 assorted koi, comets, shubunkins, wakins, goldies for their long winters nap

This setup is 12x5x3= 1350gal but only 1000gals is being used as it is not fully filled.
DH made 2 hamemade TT's and I've also got a pf1000 pressurized filter.
The long pvc pipe on the botton acts as a bottom drain sucking water in from all areas of the pond.
The pond stays pretty clear.

Wow. Thats a great home away from home for the fish and plants. Do you have mosture problems with 1000 gal in your basement?

DH also installled a power fan that pulls humidity up through the fan and then outside through a small window.
I'm sure I'll get some but if it means saving my fish, thats ok.

In about 5 years i'm moving to a zone 9 state!! YEHAWWW
Much warmer than my zone 4

Roger,
The only thing that cost us was the wood for the frame, the liner & and styrophome
We had the pumps, hubby made the TT's out of SS at work (free) and the deer netting was from the outdoor pond.
His brother gave us the batting.
I'm guessing $800
Oh ya...the fittings weren't cheap either
