That is a pretty big bump. Unfortunately I do not know. Watch for any holes and any possible parasite coming out.

Watch his eyes, gills and vent also to see if there is any nearly invisible worm like creatures wiggling around.

I know there are tumors which fish can get some are not terminal, some just stay there.

How quickly since you have noticed it has it grown?

Is he constipated to the best of your knowledge? Might be worth fasting him for 3-4 days.

You might also dose the tank with Epsom salt. 1 TEAspoon per 5 gallons of water to start then work your way up to 1 TEAspoon per gallon.

Update

I put in some parasite meds still don't see any signs of them tho I'm thinking it's a ulcer I have done the salt treatment before I did the meds and it isn't growing it did grow out to a point then the point disappeared so I don't know

Update 2

Mister lumpy seems calmer today and the spot looks diffrent and has spots in his top and bottom in the fin

Ya I would definitely treat for internal parasites in case it isn't a benign tumor and it's a parasitic tumor.

Update3

Update fasted lumpy not even peas and parasite meds and he is doing better the lump is down!
