Trying to get live caught bluegill to accept pellets
Background
Bluegill (female I think)
Been captive for about 6 months
In otherwise perfect health
Caught at around 4 inch now close to 6
Loves frozen bloodworms but that's about it is picky but will sometimes accept krill and will snack on brine shrimp
Wanna get a more balanced diet into her though

Has adapted well to the 125 she's in dosent really even spook anymore really unless I do something preditor like like get in the tank from above or quick movements toward her

Don't feed it for a couple.days than try the pellets. May have better luck with flake. Some fish don't pick off the bottom as much as others. Bluegill are mid to upper water fish.

Ya I purchased some game fish pellets and it has slow sinking and floating pellets the keep the food physical where it needs to be. Once it hits bottom might as well be gravel to her.

Might try soaking pellets in garlic juice or just dip them in it then try feeding. All fish love garlic and it's good for them.
