pond water becoming green?!

can something make the pond green water not green but clear??

Running a uv light is probably the best thing to do other than water changes. I try to not add chemicals to mine

Water changes and add lots of plants, particularly floating/cover plants. Natural alternatives would be adding barley (bales or extract) but limiting sun exposure/adding plants does the most.

Barley straw will help put it an a mesh/net bag and put it in as it breaks down it kills off algae and your water will clear and does not harm fish or wildlife
