salt question

So ihave a 30 gallon and have two goldfish. They are going to go into a pond soon but a while back they got ick and what not. I also had a pleco with them.the pleco ended up dieing and decided that I would cure the tank with 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallon.do you think its okay to put one in despite it having salt? I have done a few water changes since then

But one what in? If your fish are cured, do not add anything until they have been moved into their pond and the tank is empty. You will only risk infecting the tank again then will risk infecting the pond as well.
