What size tank would 3 fancy goldfish need ?

If I was to buy 3 fancy goldies, what size tank would they need to live comfortably forever? And also, what other fish can live with them? (Weather loaches are banned in Australia)

Hmm. With GF I like bigger rather than minimum sized tanks. IMHO 60g minimum , but if you have room, 75-100g would be better. . Stays cleaner and gives them lots of room to grow. Plus under stocking gives you leeway if you go away for a week or miss a water change.

Goldfish grow larger than most people realize (or care to realize). If your considering a 'forever' tank, go with the largest you can reasonably afford in the 75-100+g range.
