Newts with small crab and fish

I have a 10 gallon tank that's currently holding an albino cory catfish and a red clawed crab, I've become interested in fire bellied newts and I was wondering if they could all live together, and if the toxicity of a newt would affect the crab and fish at all, and also if I were to add any shrimp. The water would be filtered
