Sick Black Moor

Good day to all,
I have a sick black moor, and my local pet shop can not tell me what is wrong, is there any of you which can help?
I have attached a photo of the poor fella.

He looks really big in the photo? Is he quite old?
I had a black moor about his size and he started resting at the bottom of the tank and gasping. He sadly died the next day.
We weren't too sure what caused him to die but we new he was very old.
He was a rescue fish. Good luck with your guy I hope someone else can come on and help you. I was told to put another air pump in the tank to help with more oxygen not sure if that will help.

Also forgot to mention how are your levels nitrite ammonia etc?

It looks like ich to me. But that could also be from photo quality.
