Hi,
I have a red eared slider and have just upgraded to a 55 gallon. For some reason scout won't climb up onto the basking platform. We have tried to pick him up and set him on the platform, but he immediately swims away. Here is the current setup. I added a log on top of the rock and although it's looks stupid, he still won't get up!

When I upgraded my Painted's tank it took awhile for him to warm up to the new set up, he wouldn't bask right away either... Might just need some time to get used to things
