Hi everyone,
I have a 3ft tank set up with internal filter, basking dock, light set up, live plants and live feeder fish. I assume the tank has finished cycling, but my levels are;
Ph - 7.6
Ammonia - 0.50ppm
Nitrites - 0ppm
Nitrates - 5ppm
I have recently done a 50% water change about a week ago, does anyone have any ideas on lowering ammonia to 0? (Fish and plants are all doing great)
Thanks,
Jess

What sort of turtle are you thinking of getting? Plants will most likely get. Ripped apart and eaten and cause mess in the tank just as heads up. Tank sounds cycled to me but I would invest in a better filter

I am getting a saw shell hatchling next week, about a 6cm shell length from a breeder. I am aware that plants will be eaten, thats what they are there for. :)
I have an aqua one filter that is has a 1200L/hr flow rate? And my tank has about 80L in it, so thats the volume of the tank being filtered 15 times per hour?
Could I be over feeding the feeder fish?
Thanks
