If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Places like liveaquaria.com , blue zoo , etc all have good info with suggestions for tank size, compatibility, etc.

I like the ruby wrasse and the kole tang!

And what about a spotted hawk fish?
Maybe a pink spotted goby?

Thats where ive been looking for ideas

Blue hippos get way too large and have a constant, nonstop swimming habit. They cover a ton of space almost effortlessly. That is pretty much the description of all tangs. I love the coloration of hippos but in my experience they are too prone to sickness due to stress.

I love that goby!

How big is he?

Alright i will stay away from the hippo.

But i do want a tang.

Looking at a yellow and a khole atm

Today i got my package of fish supplies, tested my water and everything was prefect across the board.
So i went to my lfs stores an picked up, a pink spot goby, and a sallylightfoot crab
Along with a little zoa frag.

The pink spot is eating!

But the crab has stayed very still, didnt even scurry when i put him in,
He only moved when i put my hand in to mess with something, is this normal?

Did you drip acclimate him? A drastic change in parameters can kill inverts, they are quite sensitive. It could also be that it is getting used to its surroundings and preparing to she'd, as most crabs and shrimp will shed upon going to a new tank.

No i dripped them both.

Okay that sounds about right.
Ill watch for the shed.

Testing the water, everything is good.

Only question is, what is a good ph for saltwater?
Mines at around 7.4

Only other level worth mentioning is .50 ppm of ammonia.

Your PH should be 8.2 ammonia needs to be 0.0 I would do a 20% water change.
