So just curious I am looking at buying a 40g that's 4 ft long would there be any chance that the panel would be able to substane zoas and some low light lps ? Light would be mounted in the canopy and also has 90 degree optics.

Should light the tank well enough, I would get a light with no optics though. You will have some dark corners on the tank, two lights would be the best coverage. I use 1 led panel over a 36" tank and have shadowing in the corners.

I already have the light over a 30g hex but have a line on 40g tank stand and canopy and possibly 2 vho with it for 50, so maybe I could run both

Lol the 40g turned into a 55 and had a small accident with my original led panel with 90degree optics, so I ordered a different panel with no optics, anyone have thoughts on optics or no optics.
