150 gallon water changes needed?

I've got a saltwater tank that's about 150 gallon. The tank has an open top and I literally add 10 gallons of water every 2 or 3 days. I know it's a top off but thats almost 15% water change a week. Do still need to remove water every 2 weeks and do a waterchange??

Yep you do. You're only adding water no trace elements that would be going in if you were to do water changes. Also there is no other way to export out nitrates and other harmful waste.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

That does make sense. Maybe I could do a 20% water change every week on top of it.
