20,000K Metal Halides / worth it?

I'm hearing a lot of differing opinions on the newer 20,000k Metal Halide bulbs. Are the people using them supplimenting them with actinics, or using them solo without florescent suppliments? Considering the extreme differences in visible appearence I've seen between 10,000k MH's (ranging from violet hues to ugly yellow) I'm wondering if the 20,000 bulbs were more consistent in this respect.

I don't use them but I gonna say no, there will be a difference from manufacturer to manufacturer, just like any other MH bulb.
