Hi guys!

I was thinking about getting a 20 gallon saltwater fowlr without a sump and was wondering what equipment and supplies i will need.

For a fowler you could get away with a hob filter and a power head, heater and cheap lighting. You will also need test kits and a refractometer for measuring salinity. What do you plan to keep? My only advice is to be wary that a fowler that small you might find you get bored with only 2 or 3 fish and no corals! beware its a very addictive hobby. I always suggest to start fish only but once you get the hang of it start introducing corals. Unless you know the TDS of you tap water I wouldn't recommend using that, put a rodi system in your shopping list if you can afford it.
