He ate 4 ghost shrimp at the store. And was going crazy looking for them when I put the ghost shrimp in today. I didn't see him take any but saw what looked like him striking but couldn't tell. I think so. Jist going to keep a nice supply of ghost in there for him prob a dozen or two every weekend. That way I know he will always be able to find some.

Got some new fish this weekend.

Tomini tang
2 black clowns
Hawk fish
Longspine urchin.
And lime 30 turbo snails as well.

Tank is comming along very well I think. Even got my beta to eat frozen krill a couple times last week.

Hmm. I wonder if that's why I don't have any in my 55. It's on the glass and pumps but not mich on rock work. Lol

Just had to get it though. The small ones spikes were about an inch and they were $29. Mines are at least 6 inch long and he was the same price. He is huge.

Been testing twice a week now everything is looking good. My two Tangs and beta r doing great but my hawk and one clown vanished two days after I got them. And my goby was dead this morning when I woke up. Only thing off on my test were nitrates just starting to come up again. But no ammonia. No phos. No Trites. Calc was a little high around 500 so I stoped adding cal. Alk as well. And ph was 8.4 if I remember right.

Thought that maybe the beta was doing it. But he has left the peppermint shrimp alone in the tank so far. And they took care of my aphasia out break for me as well. But I have seen 2 of my sand star mangled as well. But the clown should have been to big. And I know the hawk was for my beta. Not to sure yet. So just can wait and watch right now and see how they do.......

Been a while. But got a few upgrades to the 210

Slowed down a lot on getting fish or coral. Got way to many fish to fast and lost a few. And got an elegance that was huge and lost it. So slowing down now and only one or two things at a time. Just got the clam and sun coral a week ago.

How often should I be spot feeding the sun coral. Been doing every other day.

Wow, beautiful corals!

When I had my sun coral I was feeding every other day. Unfortunately mine didn't really eat and didn't make it. :-(

Good luck with yours I'm sure you'll do much better than I did.

don't beat yourself up over the elegance at least. 99% of the time they are from indo and don't live in captivity.

every other day is fine for the sun coral. once a week won't be too little either IME.

That's good. Cus was worried about that coral if we ever leave out of town for a week and come back with it dead.
