hello im am starting a sw tank and i was wondering what tank is better to us a 27 hexagon tank or a regular 29 gallon tank

thanks

I think it all depends on what you like. I like the stright front view of a tank. Therefore I would prob go with a 29Gal.

Yep, I agree a regular 29 would be a much better tank. More of a footprint so more space across. Up and down room is nice, but when it comes to sw that extra space on the sandbed will come in handy much more than a high column type of tank. :)

Ok thank you I think I'm going to go with the 29 gallon

Also, if you end up going reef, a shallower square tank is usually eaier to equip with the proper lighting for the corals.
