I currently have a 24 gallon aquapod and just bought a 40 gallon tank to transfer into. I still need to get a filtration system and a light. What would be the best and most cost effective choices?

Are you doing a reef tank? I like a sump because all of the hardware can be hidden it that basically. I do prefer a drilled tank rather than an overflow box for a light I like T5's.

I actually found another approach. I found a 60 gallon set up that has a sump and everything I need. Excited to get it set up. I pick up the tank tomorrow. I'll post a pic after I set it up.

What is better than a 40 gallon tank? A 60 gallon that is great!

I made a similar discovery. The day after I discover a small leak in my 36 bowfront I found a complete 55 gal setup with stand for 150 bucks. Grats on your find!
