40B Salt water tank

needing advice on Light and filter power heads and any other equipment i might need... Budget friendly please. im looking at having a refugium on the back of the tank.

I would go with a sump if you can. You can make em pretty cheap. I got the fluval sea power heads. There alright they get done what needs to be done you can find them at most fish/pet stores. If you build a sump you can put a refugium heater and protein skimmer all under the tank. Unfortunently this isn't a cheap hobby

I am in the planning process of upgrading my 20g reef to a 40 breeder and here is the equipment that I am planning on getting for it

Lighting for a reef - This will let you grow sps without any issues and is well reviewed.
