46 gal to 90 gal

Hi

Looking for some answers on switching from my 46 to 90 gal.
I have a 90 gal with 90lbs of new sand about 75lbs LR that will come from 46gal
about 70lbs LS from 46 and a 20gal fuge from 46 and my fish.
How should I go about switching?
Will I need to cycle again?
The 46 gal is about 6 months old

Just switch it over to the new tank. You might still experience a small cycle because you LR is really not enough for that size tank. You`ll need some more LR to have the proper biological filtration. Depending how dirty your sand is you`ll need to wash it off or get new sand. I never recommend keeping the same sand, just using some of the old to seed the new but I see where your`s is pretty new so it`s up to you. I dont know if you have a skimmer or not but I would highly recommend one. Hope all goes well with the changeover.

If you are adding uncured LR then you`ll need to cure it first in a separate container and then add to your tank. here is a link.
