7 gallon pico reef build

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
And as far as coral look at toadstooles, xenias, and one of my favorites green star polyps (gsp).

About an inch, inch and a half at some spots.
And no, Does anyone have a list of compatable gobies?

I will check out those corals, I have Xenia and It's one of my favorites

Ive heard that the yellow watchman goby is the hardiest and will more likely pair with the pistol shrimp. Many say that he needs a 20 but I believe its the best you will beable to do with a goby/shrimp pair. I think it will be ok tho. And the xenias are pretty nice to look at. Keep us posted on any new pics.

From there you can look at the pistol shrimp choices and the different gobies. Just make sure to check that they are symbiotic cause there are some pistols listed that don't go with a goby.

Will do, thank you very much.
Enjoy scooters fin :D

Looks good! I just started a 8 gallon from innovative marine. It's been slow going but I have a few things in there.

I've been following your build!
You've had a lot more trouble with your build than me lol.
I wish you the best of luck with adding fish and inverts!

Thanks! Do you issues keeping salinity stable? I was actually thinking of maybe just doing a reef tank with inverts. Live stock is still up in the air.

Actually no, I keep a gallon jug of r/o water next to it and fill it up as it goes down.
So it pretty much stays stable.

Oh ok. Is it topless? Mine is and I have major evap issues. Pretty much have to top off everyday at the same time. I top off at 7pm every day.

You can always set up an ATO system. Even if you aren't running a sump (or have no room for a float) you can put a dosing pump on a timer to replace water. They move like 3 gallons of water an hour only so you can run fir a set time and throttle with a small air pump valve. Cost you like $30 to make.

No mine has a glass top.
I didn't even know the tank came with a top when I bought it, turned out wonderful.
