One the cloudiness from the sand clears up I'm gonna try to redo some of the top rocks. I put a filter bag on the end tube and cut the sump on but now everything is cloudy.

It's been cloudy since last night. I knew it would happen though just making sure I'm doing everything to speed process. I bought some ammonia from ace hardware, janitorial strength, when can I start adding to start cycle?

I just noticed with sump running the sand is getting stirred at bottom. Should I cut sump off and just let power heads run, if so will sump stay cloudy?

That's pretty normal. Sometimes it even takes up a day. I didn't put anything in it when I cycle my tank except for live rock. I cycle it for 6-8 weeks before I put anything in there. Reef tank takes lot patience . Can't really speed though

I am not sure I will have die off from rock I bought fully cured rock locally. Will it still cycle if there's no die off. I know patience is key, I just don't want to not do something that could've helped.
