Does it at least have an airline coming from the pump? If not I would pull the front of the pump and look for the nipple. There is obviously an airline somewhere because it is producing bubbles

So I got home from work and I decided to take the skimmer apart and put everything back together and made sure everything was tight fitting and how they were suppose to be I raised the skimmer up an inch so now it is sitting in 9" instead of 10". I will give this skimmer a week or two before I make a decision to trash it and get a different

This last pic is great. The the white airline on the left is your air control line. This configures the amount or air that mixes in the chamber creating bubbles the tube on the right is for the overflow cup. That needs to be out of the water or you are essentially putting everything you just skimmed out right back in the tank. The numbered dial is he water level indicator. It will adjust how high the water is inside he skimmer chamber. They will work best if you have an ATO to keep the water level constant, otherwise you will be adjusting that to keep it the right height.

I have a stopper on the end of the overflow drain. Should I still keep it out of the water? I have seen where people have adjusters on there air intake line but I dont see it on mine or im not figuring it out. This is my first high dollar skimmer so if my questions seem dumb im sorry.
