I have been debating getting one. At the rate they grow, I am not sure I want to go for the constant "Cutting Back" once it matures.

I know u reef guys like ur flow lol but I'm setting up a fowlr 24x24 square 31 high tank do I need more flow have a fluval g6 700gph and a ehiem 1260 that's another 700gph my lfs says I'm over killing it !! He's been in business for 35 years and has a massive system in his store only saltwater do I trust his opinion ?? When I see fish in these tanks with the big power heads they look like they are stressed blowing all over the tank !! I want to set this tank up correctly so money is no object !! If there's something I need I will get it !! Any recommendation thanks

I only run prob 300gph on my return pump and then a 1250gph circulation pump in my 75 and it seems to be plenty of flow in my tank

i agree, sweet rock work.

ive got 2 1400 in my 75 and soon to add a mag 9.5 with 4' head hight.

if your going to keep adding corals i would imagine you would want to think about another power head.

your tank look beautiful btw. good work so far and look forward to all the updates and pictures

Yes ill be getting another powerhead and eventually a bigger hob overflow since I also have a mag 9.5 but its not being run wide open like I want

Found a maxi jet 1200 laying around at my house so I added it to my tank for some more circulation

Its a clam and it is pretty big I picked it up and the Kenya tree colony and the Duncan colony and some other frags for 75 bucks from a friend who tore his tank down
