90 gal reef lighting question

It's gonna be a full mixed reef. I know it can handle the corals I used other sizes on other tank. I was leaning towards 8 bulbs minimum but can get a great deal on a 6 bulb fixture, and am debating jumping on it.
 
You should be able to handle any coral with the 6 bulb which I'm using the 6bulb tek elite and get great acro growth up to 16"-18" anything past that is a waste imo so just line the top 1/3 with your sps and fill out the bottom 2/3s with lps and Softies

Edit* keep in mind also my lights are on legs so only 4" of the water surface
