90 gal reef lighting question

I'll a 6x54 watt Tek light be enough to handle a full 90gal reef. Thanks in advance guys

Enough to handle what exactly? I'm assuming you are wanting it to support corals, but what kinds?

anything but SPS yea. SPS maybe at the very top.

It's gonna be a full mixed reef. I know it can handle the corals I used other sizes on other tank. I was leaning towards 8 bulbs minimum but can get a great deal on a 6 bulb fixture, and am debating jumping on it.

You should be able to handle any coral with the 6 bulb which I'm using the 6bulb tek elite and get great acro growth up to 16"-18" anything past that is a waste imo so just line the top 1/3 with your sps and fill out the bottom 2/3s with lps and Softies

Edit* keep in mind also my lights are on legs so only 4" of the water surface
