Hey everyone! So over the weekend I picked up a standard 90 gallon and 2-20 gallon tank from a guy I know. So I'm gonna be starting on upgrading from my 46 bow. With this being said I have a few questions about lights. I'm currently using a 150 watt metal halide and two t-5. I've been looking around and found a few pendant 150 watt metal halides for the new tank. But the people at my LFS said due to the tank being 24 inchs deep that I would have to use 250 watt metal halides instead. I had a friend that had a 150 with two t-5 over a 90 gallon corner which seemed to do ok. Figured I'd get some other opinions.. By the way I was going to get two pendants. So it would be a 24 inch pendant with 1 metal halide and two 24 inch t5 on the left and same for the right.
